n. A new medium between poetry and music, where artificial intelligence is used to reimagine poetry into immersive soundscapes under human direction.
Poetronica begins with poets and poetry. It gives original poems another dimension through immersive sound, while keeping the poet’s voice, meaning, and creative intent at the center of the work.
Poetronica Records is an early-stage creative project exploring an entirely new medium between poetry and music. The label currently uses AI-generated vocals and instrumentation under human artistic direction to reimagine original poetry as fully produced songs.
The goal is to give listeners a new way into the work, then lead them back to the poet, the poem, and the books from which the music began.
That medium now lives in two connected places: a record label built for poets, and a collaboration studio that brings the same source-to-sound approach to select creative partnerships.

Before Poetronica Records became a label or collaboration studio, it was a personal experiment in expanding how poetry could be experienced. Michael Teichberg’s published writing became Dust & Clay, and that experiment became the foundation for a new medium.
